Our meetings are at 7:30 am on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at Mt. Zion AME Church, 420 NE 33 St., Oakland Park, Florida. Join us and see how a small group of committed citizens can make big differences for children, young and old, in our community. Our dues are $160.00 per year, but prorated depending when you join. Our fiscal year begins on October 1 and ends on September 30th. Please contact our Membership Coordinator, Dennis Buchta at [email protected] or [email protected]. Oakland Park Kiwanis our regular membership meeting this morning, March 20. It was a great meeting with an update from both the Oakland Park Police Department and Oakland Park Mayor, Mitch Rosenwald. We had a special presentation from Jan Muenzenmaier, Former Lieutenant Governor, Division 23 of Kiwanis to share with our club a mini grant for $750 to be directed to our Student Hygiene project. Many thanks to Jan for coming to our meeting early in the morning and for Division 23 for the grant. Our club and our Oakland Park students appreciate your help. The money goes to support the activities of our club. The camaraderie of the club is awesome. Thank you all for your help and support. A special thanks to our customers and the treasures they purchased! ... See MoreSee Less
