This morning our Oakland Park Kiwanis group met for officer installation and many updates. We were joined by Fred Segal, Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor, for the installation of our officers. Dennis Buchta was installed as our 2023-24 President, Marylou Adams was installed as our Treasurer and Bill Tobias, Secretary. They do a great amount of work to keep our club moving. Thank you for all you do!
We had a representative of the American Legion share information on the Boys Club, a group we financially support.
In addition, we had fantastic support from Broward County Sheriff's office with four members present. We sincerely appreciate the time to come to our meetings and provide updates. We thank BSO for all the continued work dedicated to our safety every day.
In addition, the Wilton Manors Kiwanis group had three members in attendance. They VERY generously donated funds to our school food bag program (Backpack Program) and shared information about scholarships available for students. Thank you for your attendance, your generous donation and for the scholarship program. Please come back to our meetings soon! ... See MoreSee Less
