Oakland Park Kiwanis Visit to Lloyd Estates Elementary School
Today, members of the Oakland Park Kiwanis visited Lloyd Estates Elementary School. During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet Principal Allen and Assistant Principal Smith as well as Lisa Palonka. Our discussions focused on the latest developments at the school, where we were pleased to learn that testing scores are on the rise. The administration shared some of the creative approaches being used to motivate and reward both students and teachers, which was fun to hear.
During our visit, we delivered the first boxes of Goldfish donated by Primanti Brothers to provide snacks to school children. We will be making deleveries at other local schools. Thank you, Primanti Brothers!
Representing the Oakland Park Kiwanis at local schools is a privilege. We are continually impressed by the initiatives taking place to support and enhance student learning. It is inspiring to witness firsthand the efforts being made to help our young people succeed.
