Oakland Park Kiwanis our regular membership meeting this morning, March 20. It was a great meeting with an update from both the Oakland Park Police Department and Oakland Park Mayor, Mitch Rosenwald. We had a special presentation from Jan Muenzenmaier, Former Lieutenant Governor, Division 23 of Kiwanis to share with our club a mini grant for $750 to be directed to our Student Hygiene project. Many thanks to Jan for coming to our meeting early in the morning and for Division 23 for the grant. Our club and our Oakland Park students appreciate your help. Our Oakland Park Kiwanis club hosted a successful garage sale today, March 16. As always, the club members worked hard on donations, set-up, sales and clean-up. The money goes to support the activities of our club. The camaraderie of the club is awesome. Thank you all for your help and support. A special thanks to our customers and the treasures they purchased! ... See MoreSee Less
